"new" Yamaha xs750 project

Yeah, its taking longer than I had hoped
Time has been extended due to new job and living arrangements. You know how it is, life gets in the way of these projects. I had to take it into a shop to get the final bit put back together but she should be any day now. Already have another project for the girlfriend waiting in the garage.

been awhile since I posted on this thread. Got the bike started. Video is here

No its from hotwingglass.com. It's nice, but I may swap it out for an all black, covered seat. I didnt put a hoop in the rear of the frame, so its just hanging out there and vibrates quite a bit. If I decide on keeping it, I'll def be looking to put in a hoop. Need a new taillight too, the crappy one I put on there broke as soon as I hooked it up. Guess 12v means something else in chinese.

You got that bike all together and running now? I picked up a '77 750D over summer and just about got it finished. I like how yours came out.

yeah its all built up and I've ridden it around a bit. Having issues with the DMV getting it registered though. Good luck with your build, if you need any specialized advice, check out www.yamaha-triples.org. That site has helped me tremendously in getting my bike going.

Yeah i've been on the triples forum, thanks and good luck with the DMV. I still have to go back and show them my paper work from the CHP, but as far as i know I'm all paid up on it. The bike was out of the system and all I had was a bill of sale, no title hah.
