my name's Dan. Usually take a walk through these forums so thought id just sign up
above are a couple bikes im working on at the moment

the first is a custom hardtail suzuki 1200. gsxr1100 cams, aftermarket head cooler 50 shot of nitrous
goosenecked frame, girder forks (still been made) etc etc

the other is a honda vf400 i bought as a box of parts - i only really need the engine and frame. tank is a cbr 400 seat from a tz750 - not decided fully where im heading with it. im just making it up as i go along

Yup - looks like some mad scientist stuff going on there! Looks like all the making of a drag bike, except the front end could be raked more. Can't wait to see the front end.

it is digger inspired foresure... I am curiouse as to why you chose that rake and trail? I LUV it dont get me wrong. But very curious. I see a bike where everything is set up to go in a straight line. Except the front end... My guess is simply because of/for street riding. am I right?

theres a build thread in the chop bobber bit i put on lastnight- the frame came with the standard 30 degree of rake that the gsxr comes with. when i had the frame goosenecked i could have raked it more - maybe 45 would have been good, but at the time i was still planning on using the gsxr forks so i kept the rake as it worked with the forks
the geometry is all the same as the gsxr - except ive added 6 inch of length with the gooseneck.
when i get the girders back i will be able to add some rake just off the girders if i wish, but will see how it looks and handles as is. hopefully it will be good handling for street use as is, but the ground clearence is very low which is a worry
