Newb From Ireland

Hi guys, my name is Brian and I'm 21. I'm new to riding and just got my first bike there the other day. Its a 92 honda cb250 and I'm hoping to turn it into a gorgeous cafe racer over the next few months. The bike's in good condition apart from a rusty exhaust (that may need to be replaced, not sure?!) and some rust on the wheels, that I'm hoping one of you guys can advise me on getting rid of it?

I've been reading posts on here a while, trying to build up my knowledge and looking at a lot of amazing bikes so I'm excited to get involved!

Welcome to DTT!!! Not sure what rust removal chemicals you have available to you in Ireland, but there are plenty out there that may work for you. It really depends on how bad the rust really is.

Thanks for the welcome! ;D I'm not sure what is available here, probably not a whole lot but I can get anything online from the uk or from USA/Canada! I'll post some picture of the rust in a separate thread in a few days and hopefully I can get some advice!
