Hey, my name is Matt and I'm from Georgia. I have a couple projects, but the main one is my 1976 Honda CB550. I intend to turn this into a cafe, but it has quite a ways to go.

This is how I bought it. The previous owner was making it a bobber.

This is how I rode it for the past year.

And this is how it sits now...

I have installed clubmans and rear drop shackles. I am hoping to lower the front end about 2", relocating the headlight about 2" down, removing the front fender, cleaning and painting the engine, cleaning carbs, still running pod filters (maybe change to velocity stacks), relocating and rewiring electronics, installing rearsets, installing Carpy's 4-1 exhaust, installing cafe seat and custom rear fender, and shaving off unneccessary brackets from the frame...

...all in my back yard...

Actually, that seat is very, very comfortable. It is the pillion seat off the dude's old Honda cruiser.

I'm going to custom upholster a seat to go with the cafe seat that I'm going to get.

Welcome! i thought your bike looked kinda cool with the lower bars. Maybe, would have done somthing with the back fender. Anyway have fun with it.
