Great site! There is alot of very creative and talented individuals on here.

I just got a 1974 CB450 K7 that is in need of some refurbishing. I'm going to try to turn this into a nice little cafe racer. Looking to make it kick start only, with nothing other than what makes it go and stop.

Hey PRD welcome to the site. I am new also and like your bike. Your going to have fun with it!

IMO I would keep the electric start. I kick start my cb350 but you never know with a bike thats close to 40 yrs old..lol...but up to you.. ;D

go and stop, safely and looking good. Awesome bike. Good luck! I have a '75 500t and I'm going to remove all the starter components. I starts on the 2nd or 3rd kick. Go for it!
