While browsing the Internet, I stumbled upon a café bike, which caught my interest. Through a little research and test rides, I decided that a cb350 was the base that I wanted to start with. I bought this ’72 cb350g for $225. It doesn’t run (yet) and leaks a lot of oil. I just ordered a BCR tank and seat today. I am looking at buying a clubman handlebar but not sure if there are different sizes or not. I see a lot on e bay but most describe them for a 550 or larger. Also looking for rear sets if anyone has any ideas or a set for sale.

Nice get! BCR tank and seats are beautiful! Leaking oil from where? As far as rearsets there are a TON of threads on here about several ways to do them right. Just search around a bit, and im sure you'll find something you like. Im building a 350 also, and look forward to seeing what you get done on this thing!

That's a nice little bike and I kind of like the purple color. It's like a flying grape!

Whereabouts in Michigan are you?

Nice. Look me up if you're ever riding into the southeast part of the state. I'm in Ann Arbor.

I'm just south of Holland, welcome to the site. I ride on Tuesday nights with a christian group out of Hudsonville. My '76 CB500T is as loud as the Harleys that show up.
