Most of life I have been riding in the dirt. However, over the past ten years or so the goverment and preservations groups have been closing public land at an alarming rate. Sold my Honda TLR 200 a couple of years ago and I miss it. I picked up this 72 cb350 twin for nothing. It laid in the yard for two years and I have no title. One day I thought maybe I could reserect it from the scrap pile. Surfed the net on cb350's and was amazed how much stuff is out there. The decision was made. I checked the numbers with the state to varify that it was not stolen and the process to go through to get a title. Unsure about getting a title, I am only spending money on what is needed to make it roadworthy. The first part of the title process is to have it inspected by the state patrol to make sure it's safe to ride. When it's ready for inspection I will have less than $400 in a titled and running bike. After I get the title a complete tear down will be in order. Detail the frame and engine and of course modify the bike even more. Most of what I have done is fixing all that little stuff that last owners ignored, made a list of what it really needs and did some cutting, chopping and painting along the way. I chose black and red because they are oldschool and I have a 66 Dodge D100 I drag race that's done in black and red/orange. I get many favorable comments on the oldschool look. Well there you have some stuff on an introduction. I am 58 years young, having a blast with this bike and looking forward to riding it!
Happy New Year to all, hope you have a great one!

Welcome to the boards! I have a tlr200 sitting in my garage. I haven't had time to go through it yet and get it all functioning properly. Was it a good bike? Anything I need to watch out for? I'm getting it ready for my stepson when he turns 16. I'm also in the process of buying a cb350 twin. Yours looks like a good place to start. Go over to Big Arse Projects and start a project thread on that thing!

I have a title for the tlr and in Alabama you don't need a title for a bike if it's pre-1973 so I'll be able to register an untitled bike here if it's old enough.

I bought mine new and put several thousand miles on it in the dirt. The only problem I had with it was fouling plugs. A new plug every year is cheap insurance. good reliable bike, fun to ride and will go just about anywhere. Good luck with it.
