Ok, this isn't reaally cafe racer related, but this is a repair thread and this seemed like the best place for this post. I have a friend that has a TT600 with some issues. He took the bike to a shop and it had an oil leak. The repair ticket says that the valve cover gasket and the drain plug neither one are leaking, and the oil is bypassing the crank case breather seal and going directly into the air box and draining out of the airbox drain tube. After replacing new breather parts, the mechanic took it for a ride and afterwards found oil beind and below the starter motor, which had dripped from the airbox fittings. Anyone have any idea as to where the air leak is coming from? They told him it was going to be like $4500 to fix the oil leak, but that seems a little steep to me, even if it is the head gasket that is leaking. What do you guys think?

The best advice I can give you on this would be to take this question to triumphrat.net. Go to the "Sport and Touring" forum and then to the "Triumph SuperSports" section. They should be able to give you a better answer there.
