Nice Cafe Seats!

rockcitycafe

I make things.
I have some nice fiberglass seat pans made up, they're on Egay right now, but PM me if you'd like one and I'll do a 10% discount for site members, you can see how I made one of them in the seats and tanks forum!

I bought the one on the right for my CB450 (Ebay), and it's a nice piece. The finish was/is clean and smooth.

cheers.

how do people usually mount them, to the seat pan or something else with the frame?
do you have any pics of how you mounted them?

I am in Rochester, New York, not Toronto unfortunately... your city has prettier women than mine...

and the seats mount to the frame rails, so take off the stock hinges and crap and bolt them down, they lower the stock sitting position by about 3 inches like the one on my bike

just ordered the seat with the completely round back, i didnt take off the 10% so if you can refund it i guess? paypaled from bissbissinger@yahoo.com. up to you really

Will you be making these for a while? I am just finishing my bike project, but I would like to buy one of these for the next project.

Thanks for the order, I'm still working on adding a discount code field to the site so that prices automatically get discounted with a redemption code, but I sent 10% back to ya. PS you should see the seat really quick, have one in a box already for tomorrow

My little shop is only growing! :) and you should see these and more for your projects in the future, the only reason I would stop producing one is if I retire the mold, but I can always pull more parts from a retired mold, they just take a little more cleaning up after pulling

How much modification would the seat require to bolt to a '79 CM400?

tough question... I don't have nor have I seen that frame... have you checked the dimension drawings? go to www.roccitycafe.com, and check out the parts in the store, they all have dimension drawings to go with the product pictures, other than that, you can PM me a drawing of your frame and I can see if one will fit and what it would take to secure it to the frame

i recieved the seat a few days ago, but was busy painting the frame so i wasnt able to mock it up. the seat looks great and the finish is phenominal. thanks for everything!
