Nightmare

Last night I had a nightmare that I was out riding, pretty hard, mind you, and I stopped where I was going and a elderly couple stopped and said "nice bike. but are there some pieces missing?" I looked at my bike and the top triple tree was missing completely. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!

Haha, if it rides fine without it then you don't really need it right? :)

I don't really think dreams mean anything but I would have to guess you are feeling anxious about how good of a job you did or are doing on your build.

Shit, I had a crazy dream last night. I was a proctor for a televised debate between some students and a university president. I got in trouble when I confronted the pres about something important. WTF? I haven't been in school for years. I don't know what the important subject was and I have a fear of public speaking. I woke up sweating.

Or does it mean that there is a problem with the front end. I'm not all that crazy, but I do think dreams can mean things, and that sometimes they could be your subconscious trying to help you out. Maybe you've got loose spokes? (I see you have mags...so this was a bit of a joke) ;D

It means you were riding one of those cheap Chinese scooters.

Dude, I've had to work on those. VERY SCAREY! I'll barely test ride them afterwards. I always put on the work order "dangerous bike. Unsafe. Riding not recommended."

A buddy of mine works for Loctite and has this awesome shirt...

just give your bike a second check over and make sure everything is tight. I have dreams like this when I am not sure about how I put something together, and usually when I go back and do it again, I figure out what was wrong.

mind you, the dreams only come about after I spend hours during the day thinking it over in my head. Sure, nothing may be wrong, but better safe then sorry.

I need that loctite shirt.

I recently worked on a 250 "Jonway." What a piece of shit. Felt like it had a hinge in the middle. Fasteners were missing all over the place, and really shoddily built. Then I worked on a Vespa. What a difference in quality. Vespas are really well made.
