PO never had the electric start working, so I'm trying to get this resolved. I was able to jump the solenoid and get it fired up and running about three times, however the starter has since slowed to a crawl when I try this. New solenoid installed, new condensers, battery and plugs. Points are clean and not pitted. Have power, and 12v at that. Absolutely stumped on where to look next. One thing I've noticed is in the right hand controls the starter button doesn't seem to have anything engaging or disengaging when it is pressed. But now that the starter itself is barely cranking over I'm wondering if it's still electrical or something mechanical. Any leads on where to look are appreciated in advance.
