Motobi 750 Sei, Soon to be a cafe racer
Hello to all of you out there.
This is my first posting here, and as a newbie I will present myself.
I live in Norway, and have recently bought a Motobi 750 Sei from 1976.
This is a 6 cylinder Italian bike, similar to the Benelli 750 Sei.
Of the 6 brothers who started Benelli, one of them left the company and formed Motobi.
Only about 250 built, all for the spanish market, and if you search the internet, the only one you will find is mine.
It's a Rebadged Benelli with some changes.
The difference between a Benelli 750 Sei and a Motobi 750 Sei is as follows:
Benelli have double discs in front and drum rear brakes. Motobi has triple Brembo discs
Benelli have regular shocks, Motobi has Marzocchi gas shocks
Benelli have 6 to 6 exhaust, Motobi has 6 to 1 exhaust from Marving
Benelli have spoke wheels, but Motobi has cast wheels from Recmo
And finally, the seat is different.
As you can believe, some of the original parts for this one is almost impossible to find. The experts say that it doesn't exist, but it does. Mine came from Spain.
And it's gonna be a rare cafe racer when I'm done.
