Just got back from an awesome ride with my wife. Didn't do anything wild or fast, just rode to get ice cream and back home. It was a blast and made me realize just how cool it is to get out and be able to share this sport with my wife. Even got a little block racing in (which she won...of course :).
C'mon fellas, I know there are are more of you whose wives/ sig others ride, lets show 'em off! Post up some riding/ rider pics!
I'll start: The Mrs. and her FZ600 just before striking out for home this evening
I keep all my bikes insured. Even the ones I don't ride very often. If I didn't, I'm pretty sure something would happen to them and my wife would claim she was definitely not involved.
My wife rides, and I do love it. I just got her an 86' Yamaha Radian that I'm "restoring". Trying to get her off her beginner Vulcan 500. She's pretty excited about having a sportier bike. She's a good rider but I do worry about her trying to follow me.
My ex-wife only rode on the back. My girlfriend also only rides on the back. Judging by the number of times she has biffed it on a bicycle I am not sure she is ready to ride anything more than a 49cc scooter and neither is she.
Yeah, she's a yoga instructor so she does yoga on practically anything she can... Here's a little headstand she did in front of a BOMB at the airshow a few weeks back...hahaha
My wife and I do a “date night” about once a month. We head on down to southern Ohio, ride some twisty roads and then spend the night at a nice hotel and then do it again the next day and then go home. Last Friday we were in the Hocking Hills and spent the night in Athens.
Here she is on her girly bike ;D
It is very nice to have a wife who shares the same passion, instead of feeling guilt when I enjoy my hobby, I get to turn it into a couple thing. I can't wait until my kids can ride so it turns into a family day out.

I envy her 'girly' bike! ;D ;D...sniff, sob... and I miss mine... :'(
On a brighter note, I picked up the 48 for the Mrs tonight. This honestly should have happened a long time ago! She took to the bike in about 10 minutes, and it was on--she rides it like she has been riding it forever. I am honestly happier seeing her take to it than I am about the actual bike, and the bike is pretty cool. Here is a couple shots from 'practice' before suiting up and hitting the highway:
In Stann Creek, Belize. On a two week tour through Guatemala and Belize. 2800 kms of 50/50 dirt/pavement on her Yamaha YS250 (Fazer). Not the ideal bike for the job, but she got it done.
