WOW - how did you get the hubs so shiny? Polished or are they coated in any way?

I weighed all the options and in the end just went with lots of polishing and figure Ill maintain the shine rather than coat and hope it doesnt chip or vapor blast and not have the shine id like. I used a combination of dremel, wet sanding and buffing wheel to get the shine.

Dammmn that caliper is nice and shiny, I hope I can get mine that good, mine has been a pain soo far, the main caliper part with the piston in it, I havent even gotten the paint off. I use stripper on it about 15 times, no joke.

I didnt use any stripper. Just a dremel with scotch brite attachments. Got a pack of 25 on ebay for like 20 bucks. That was about 2-3 hours work.

benefit of running two carbs opposed to 4?

When i was building bikes on the dyno, we changed alot from 2 carb to 4 carb... a little more tricky to get everything dialed perfectly, but the power was worth it.

Man, I am speechless and its not even done, the carb setup looks awesome, doing the bigger jet thing? and the headlight tank and seat are perfect.

Thanks guys. The two carbs won't perform as well as 4 but as long as it's reliable I don't mind a losing a few HP to give it a different look. If I wanted high power I'd ride one of my other bikes with nearly triple the HP of an air-cooled 750 on a good day. I'm building this one for fun but knowing myself I'm sur it will still get run hard.

Top quality work, can't wait to see this finished. Lovin' the shape of the headlamp shell, gives it a real look of doing the ton when standing still.

Thanks for the comments guys. Not a whole lot to report. Its mostly the unsexy stuff now. Ordered some avons, stainless brake line, carb springs, fuel line etc. Installed some cartridge emulators and lowered the fork a bit internally:
