Is this oil or gas? Carbs def need adjusting so wasn't sure if this is due to a rich condition or if its something more serious. About to put on new mufflers when I noticed.
Could be carbon and condensate (water condenses from exhaust. H2O is a byproduct of combustion) or could be oil. If it is oil, are you having blue smoke or black smoke? Blue is Oil, Black is fuel....
What's the smoke situation? If it's blue a proper leak down test needs to be performed to find out where the oil is coming from... Poor man's method is to hold the crank in place, apply compressed air to the cylinder at TDC and listen to where the air is leaking from.
