Oklahoman with a CB360

Been Around the Block
SWM who enjoys shorts walks to the garage and sipping on fine beers in the company of machines that can't speak.

I live in Tulsa, OK. I'm 30 years old and I just bought my first bike (2010 Triumph Thruxton) last march and all I keep saying to myself is "what took me so long." Shortly thereafter I started finding out more about the Cafe Racer culture. Somehow, I stumbled upon the site of a guy named Dustin Kott who was taking old Japanese bikes and cafe-ing them out. A buddy and I, sorta talked about how cool it would be to find a bike and have him work his magic with it. I never really thought I'd be here on DoTheTon talking about building one myself.

This is my first build. 74 CB360

"Cafe Cowboy" That video makes me wanna put a tv in my garage just so I can watch tombstone while I'm working. A video like that has to be done just right or you could come across as a total chump. It's a great piece.

Well if you ever wander down my way gimme a holler I can always use some help wrenching on my bikes. ;D Cold beers will be available.
