Ola,so far pretty impressed with some of the bikes I've seen. I'm always looking for inspiration for my own mods.
Here's a snap of one of my bikes,a '78 Yamaha SR500 that I've been modding for soooo many years now.Man,just when you think you're done, along comes another idea.

SWEET RIDE! Would like to know more. From what I see, doesn't even look like a 30+ year bike.

Thanks,glad you like it.....
-front end from a '94 750 GSXR
-Headlights are McGyvered back-up lights for a tractor-trailer
-"fairing",modded fiberglass front fender for an R6
-rear suspension is a RZ350 mono
-muffler is a resonator from a Toyota Camry (the oil vapor catch tank is a reciever/dryer from Camry AC system).
-rear caliper from a '94 ZX750
-wheels from a FZR 600
-tailpiece from a Honda RS250.I had a 'home-brew' bit & subframe, but it succumbed to vibration last fall & I replaced it this winter.
-flush-mount gas cap from a YSR50 (I traded a tired Z50 motor for it).I
swapped the cap itself for a billet item from a Duc.
-rearsets started life as buddy pegs from my,long departed,GSXR.I welded them to some nice alloy stock I found in a parking lot (it was some kind of hitch from a car...I think).
-my buddy fabbed me my billet oil cooler as a project in his shop class.
-belly pan is a fiberglass replica I made from an RZ350 bit.
-I swapped the eletrics/ignition for early TT500 bits after the SR toasted its stator.
-Carillo rod &,I think,3rd over piston (I've had so many pistons in it I don't remember without checking my notes.
-I McGyvered a clear clutch cover & cam plug this last winter too (funny stuff,I call them my 'Maytag' mods)
-lots more little things, but I don't want to bore anybody.
I don't have any other recent snaps, the weather has just been too soggy, but I've some vids I'll try to put up later.
