Greetings to everyone, thought I'd finally make an intro thread.
My name's Chris, I'm a "film technician" (that's my cute way of saying "unemployed for six months of the year") from Scarborough. I bought a little gem of a '75 CB360 off of Drewski last month, which has sat around my garage being deconstructed and reconstructed and driven in circles around the block (decided I'll spend the winter rebuilding it before getting plates and insurance).
So, without further ado, here's some pictures:
A shot of a vintage Ontario 1975 plate I picked up at a swap meet last month - check out the digits:
Also, the bike lives in a house overrun with Volkswagens. If there are any more veedub fans out there... good for you!
My daily driver, an '86 Scirocco:
And my other project, a '73 914 I bought when I was 14 years old with my paper route savings:
And the engine I just finished building for it (slightly modified 2L):
And my 'pa drives this (a '57):
And does ridiculous metal repairs on this (a '65):
It's kind of like "Full House", but with aircoolers.
So that's my story, hopefully I'll be starting a build thread for the CB in the next few weeks!
