All right. I decided to simplify the paint scheme on my bike from the Army green and nose art to simple flat black and a red stripe. Here's were y'all come in. What kind aof stripe?

Here's my bike:

Should I put a checkered stripe ala,

A euro stripe like this,

Shelby Stripes like,

or a solid stripe down the center like,

i'm partial to GT stripes same as euro stripe but with pinstriping on both sides not just one side.

I would say I like all the ideas except the off-center stripe. The only reason I don't like the off-center is because of the shape of the top of your tank. I would think you should incorporate that in your striping by either doing your single stripe covering the raised section or your double stripe on either side of it. Just some of my thoughts, though. From the looks of your bike now I'm sure whatever you do will turn out great.

Id leave it flat black and just lower the front end a bit..

'Cause it's the easiest and cheapest to fix in case of a lay down.

how about sanding down just the sides of the tank to bare metal, then use a 60 grit sand paper to really scratch up the metal then clear coat?...

Give it that real "I dont give a shit", bad-ass, brat bike-cafe racer look... Oh, and slam that front end... ;D

Mirrors are gone as soon as my new bar ends come in. Think I'll go with just a solid stripe. Simple and classic.
