Options for lightweight front rotor/disc's.

Gumper

Excellence does not demand perfection.
I'm trying to source a new lightweight front disc for my project. Looking for something about 290-320mm, alloy centre and 5 hole fitting in a relatively tight circumference. Vented preferred but not wavey.

My offset is about 26mm but I'll need to make an adapter so something fairly flat is prefered.

Any ideas.

budget? ISR does custom discs for about $300 a pop. these have 30mm offset.

You can have rotors drilled and thinned down for about $50.00 each, guy on SOHC4 does them

I don't suppose you weighed these before fitting did you?

Sorry, I did not. I can assure you they are VERY light. EBC makes rotors for the old KZ's that look very similar for $200 a pop as well. part of there "pro lite" series

I've sent ISR my requirements.......I'll see what their price is. Although they have a PDF price list on their site and by my reckoning it looks competitive.

Also I managed to land a Brembo Oro series disc, new from the outlet of a well known UK company.....half price. It's from a ZX6R, 320mm zero offset. I have 14 days to return it if need be.

Cheers.

Just get a spacer made to mount it to hub. You know the offset you want so it shouldn't be too expensive
