+1 for the Kawasaki Twins Forum, the be all and end all for KZ400 info especially...Very knowledgeable guys over there. I also post on gtamotorcycle and the site that started it all for me was www.ninja250.org , there is a FAQ over there that explains how to do every single bit of maintenance on the bike (and a lot applies to other bikes).

actually, i talked to hack yesterday. i talk to a few of the regulars on there.
