Depending on where you are, I'd be careful about rocking a 10" patch across the back of your jacket.

Just a realistic suggestion.

They look rad though! :)

Why are some big bad bikers going to try and kick my ass?

I hear you mpls, the patch could possibly be mistaken for someones colours, 'specially the 10" jobby, nuff said!

I wont go into my sorted past (especially the 70's) but i can tell you with some certainty, that if your back patch is solid (i.e NO rockers) then you are pretty safe as far as most all 1% clubs go.
Now thats not to say there arent some wanna be clubs that might try and make a name for themselves and hastle you about a solid patch. but the big names, and we all know who they are,are pretty cool about that stuff.

Yea ,sucks dont it?. I had the privalage to watch a few 1% er's try and hassle a local veterans club about their colors. That didnt work out as well as they had palnned ;D
why cant we all just be friends(god,i crack myself up sometimes)

This reminds me... I never did get a photo up of the patches since I sewed them on.

I think it's worth it since I spent a long time and bent the hell out of a needle... not to mention the damage to my thumb trying to get through the leather a few hundred times...

No 10" patch... Besides, the armor on the back wouldn't allow for it. Did sew a "cafe" oval patch back there though.

I don't think you are going to have to worry too much. I've been around 1% clubs my hole life and have family members that belong. The last thing they are going to care about is this patch! The only people I see taking offence is the Ton Up club. I've been to their site and it resembles what they do over there somewhat. I don't think they will make too much of a stink though. It's not like they are a bunch of Outlaws.

If you are that worried contact the local clubs and request permission to rock patch, as a sign of respect. The 2 major clubs around here have websites and e-mails. They aren't worried about enthusiasts patches usually, plus mentioned earlier no rocker patches

WOW! Resurecting a 4 yr old post, I think this must be a record. I've seen a couple that had been brought back after a couple of years, but this is different. Was surprised to still get an email notification.

serious. super old post. on an unrelated note, why does DCC charge so much for shipping on a damn patch??? it's nonsense! I got my 2 well before DCC was the only place you could get them - and now that I want another I'm not bothering. principle of the thing.
