Outside the box seat cowl

I was in Academy Sports the other day and came across these. They're dock bumpers made for pontoon boats but I thought they'd be a nice size and shape for a seat cowl. Dense foam with a rubbery coating. Could be trimmed to fit, glued to a seat pan and probably painted with a vinyl paint. Just thought I'd share.

You know me, I'd be making a glass or CF mold out of it. I like it, reminds me of a GP tail I've seen somewhere.

i would trim it to shape, then make a mold of it, then glass the mold.

I think that tail would look really cool with an early 80's tank where the tail dips down.
