Paint in lower fork

Hey guys I got my lower forks powder coated and they got a small bit of paint on the inside. It is just at the very top on the lip where the deal sits and a small bit in the inner tube at the top. Any idea if this is going to cause any issues? Should I try and scrape it out?

You can use paint stripper to loosen the power coat.

I would recommend getting rid of any of the paint inside, especially around seal areas.

Thanks for the advice. I will give the paint stripper a try. Luckily there is not that much paint to deal with.

If it were me Id return it and have them fix the issue. That's just sloppy work on the powder coaters part.

This. That should have been fixed before you paid for it.

This is likely obvious. But Id stuff a clean rag down past the paint, apply the stripper, minimize abrasion if possible. Then remove the rag to keep the gunk from going into the fork lower.
