I've posted a few times but I guess I never did the intro thing. I dig yer guys's site. seems like you have a good gang of folks here. I am over at the SOHC4 site a lot. but am startin to check this one out more. only 2 places on the net I frequent. so...

I restore houses for a living "work for m'self don't have no boss, gotta have game if ya wanna be swass" anyone know where that quote is from? you'd prob have to have grown up in seaWa. if you know that one then you know that I've also "met Clint Eastwood, slapped his momma"

anyways, I smoke wacky tabaccy occasionally and get loopy. as now.

mostly, though I paint stuff. houses for good $, bikes and bike parts for the sheer joy of it (doesn't pay as well). I'd like to do more bike work and get an employee to help out with houses. if you need your gas tank or somethin painted, let me know. I'm pretty busy right now, but I may have time if you're not in a hurry. I can do the basic racer type of paint job. hot rod flames, scallops, stripes, all cool. but no ghost flames or aztec warriors battling dragon wizards. I'm pretty decent at pinstriping as well. that being said there are masters out there who would laugh at my measly skills.

I have been into hardcore(punk rock) for longer than my memory goes back. I am pretty much the same as I was at 14, 20 yrs ago. still listen to 7 seconds. Poison Idea is prob my fave band ever. I also like shit like GISM, Annihilation Time, Totalitar, etc. but sometimes it's Bach and Wagner. I listen to audiobooks constantly and read a lot and can tell you pretty much anything about ancient and Mediterranean history. I was a centurion in a previous life. :p used to sk8. still do once in a blue moon, but just ramps.

I love to ride my sickles. I don't get into a car unless I absolutely have to. I pretty much ride every day every time I have to go anywhere. I have a 1971 CB750. the culmination of my CB obsession. got my first, a cb200 when I was 16, and have had about 12 cb's since. I finally bought my 1st modernish bike, an 89 CBR600. it's pretty damn fun. I have been riding long enough that I feel like I can do anything on my bike, it's kind of bad. I'm completely fearless while lanesplitting in stop and go traffic at 75 mph. I can't help myself.

I used to be quite a self-destructive hellion when I was younger. you wouldn't believe me if I told you. I've mellowed out, a lot. although I seem to have a bit of a death wish while riding, I at least always wear proper gear. I don't actually want to die, just need the thrill of it. all I have left as far as excitement.

um, so that's me. a bit of me at least. nice to meet y'all.

oh yeah, here's my baby:

she's in pieces right now. I'm re-rebuilding her. I have a project thread on the SOHC4 site. I'll start one here as well at some point.

I went up there with my Mom and ate at a place called Ubuntu, I think. cold english peas with white chocolate! all of the dishes were amazing, actually. I wanna go back. might ride up there again this summer.

Ubuntu, That's in the heart of downtown, I've never been inside, I think its vegetarian food with a yoga studio above it or something? When I hit up downtown, I usually go to Taylor's Refresher for a good burger in the oxbow center or Billco's for some pool/darts. If you want great food, I'd recommend checking out Yountville. It's got the most Michelin stars per capita!
