Hey all, i wondered if anyone knows wich kind of paint (preferably rattlecan) can be safely used on a motorcycle helmet without damaging the structural integrety of the material. I know that stickers can do that on a helmet. Someone please teach me.
Fiberglass shell can be painted with any rattlecan paint. Just be careful not to expose the foam interior to paint or fumes. Tape things off tightly to prevent that.
Polycarbonate shell generally should not be painted. Most paint solvents will damage the shell. Latex paints are probably OK, and latex rattlecan paints without harsh solvents are beginning to be available.
