Can the administrator or someone who knows a lot about these bikes post a permenant stick on standard size tires and what tires could/can be put on each one for the tech page. I know it would be some work but it might answer a lot of questions people have. Thanks guys!!

this table will tell you what wheel/tire combinations work

Yes that table will show what size tire fits what size rim, but I'm sure most of us aren't thinking of putting a gigantic tire on a skinny rim.

What I'm interested in is what is the largest tire that will fit within my stock fenders or shocks without rubbing, and what modifications need to be made if I wanted to fit something larger.

I think we should start a list that is organized as follows:

1975 CB360T (example)
Stock Tire Size Front: 90/90-18
Stock Tire Size Rear: 100/90-18
Stock Front Fender Max: 100/90-18
Stock Rear Shock Max: 110/90-18
Modified Front Fender Max: 110/90-18 (no fender)
Modified Rear Shock Max: 120/90-18 (remounted shocks)

Something like this for most 70's bike would help alot of people and quit the continual questions about the subject. Bikes that share similar specs could be grouped together, for example 1970-1977 CB350's and CB360's could all pretty much be grouped together. CB400's might have their own specs, I don't know enough about the topic to really determine which groups share specs.

1976 Yamaha RD400

Stock Front: 3 S18 -- 4PR

Stock Rear: 4 S18 -- 4PR

If you have any questions about tires, please feel free to ask me. I am very strong in the field and have been manager for a large Tire Shop for the past 5 years ;)
