I have a 72 CB350 with a leaking petcock. The petcock on my bike is just like this example from dime city:

It seems to be leaking right out of the bottom of the plate that is stamped with "on", "off" etc.
I'm assuming that this part will solve my problem:

Is that pretty much it or will I need anything additional?
Clean it and check for leaks again. If so, its a do all or dont do. Parts wear over time, and changing one part is like putting new sprockets on and using the old chain.

Well the petcock on my bike has two brass nipples for the fuel lines to connect to (one for each carb) the oem one is $50 from DCC. They have some other more economical options that only have one fuel line nipple. Can I just use one of those and then add a little "y" connector to branch off to each carb?

but be sure it fits your tank. there are a lot of different mountings..
if your fueltap does leak on only one position, cheapest would be to get in-line fueltaps and set the OEM tap in the position it does not leak but does flow.

This is how my CB500 is set up. You don't have a vacuum PC some I would assume you can branch it out. But do as suggested earlier and clean it out first. Careful though, the rubber inside may need to come out and cleaned in a more gentle manner than the rest of it...plus you will see how worn it is.
What did you come up with on this issue? My petcock is leaking when it is in the "stop" position. It is an OEM replacement, and mine mounts to a plate with two bolts coming from behind the bowl, and not a single thread like on the top of yours. And there is no room for an inline fuel shut off valve as suggested earlier.
