Been Around the Block
I thought that I could post a few pics from an event I attended today. More than a little inspiration to be found.

These bikes all belong to the same gentleman, Dave. He brought 5 hondas of his own, the reproduction 50cc TT bike, 305 Hawk, 305 Scrambler, The custom 500F and a little 50Z trail (coming later). I had a nice talk with the owner about his bikes. the custom 500 he build himself. He has over 500 hours and less than $700 invested. The paint is all tremclad, he rebuild everything himself. He did the jetting to make sure it runs great, and after he was done, used a GPS speedometer and went 124 MPH. Nice machine! He bought the little 50Z from a man that had it in his office, and used it once a year to go around a little track and then put it back on his desk in his office. He has also raced the 50cc race reproduction, and says it does 18000 rpm. He even let me ride the little trail 50, hence the picture of the gorilla. Wish I had a pic of Dave. I was driving away when I thought of it.

One last mention. I brought my little apprentice with me. He naturally gravitated to the bikes his size. The yellow one is David's.
