Photoshop

I just bought a brand new iMac 27"computer and I want to learn how to use Photoshop, for those graphic desingers or photographers, what can you recommend to get me started editing pic's or create logo's. I have the software already, just don't know how to use. FYI I might have a 20" iMac computer for sale in excellant condition, I only used it mostly for internet browsing, I bought it to do some video editing, bought all the equipment and software, but just never made time for it. If I do decide to sell, it I will post in the proper thread (buy/sell), shoot me a PM if you would like to be notified when I post it.

go on youtube. The thing about photoshop is theres a million ways to do everything. Everyone has there own way to get the same effect. But the basic stuff is basic enough. Should be allright just browsing youtube. Go to a book store & browse the user guides too. Im self taught, its really easy.

I leaned Photoshop when I was in college (98) making fake IDs Just play around with it. Work in different layers and have fun.

i have read and used peach pit press' visual guide books to help me learn indesign. they were really helpfull and easy to read. barnes and nobles often carries them.

took the words right out of my mouth! i always use that exact schpeel when talking about photoshop. i was a graphic design major and my photoshop professor didnt like me cause i knew more about it than her.

I'm sure you can find them by other means . Youtube is a great place to start as well as the forums on Adobe's own website.

and number one, just google what you want to do. You will not be the first person to try something out. The ethernet is just not for porn.
