Picked up two Cool Bike books

I've been contemplating on picking up two books for awhile since one was kinda pricey when you could find it for a reasonable price. The first was "Japanese Production Racing Motorcycles" by Mick Walker.

I was able to find it for 44 shipped. I've wanted this for the longest time and finally bit the bullet. It's not a cafe related book but moreso on race bikes from the major Japanese manufactures from their earliest bike up to around 2002. I love vintage race bikes so next on my list is the "European Racing Motorcycles" book.

Next is a book that I had to order since it's not available yet from Barnes & Noble yet. It's called "Stealing Speed" by Mat Oxley.

Even if your not a big book reader, this will get you sucked in. I was able to find this for right around twenty bucks and it's a hard cover. This gets better with the turn of every page and it's a true story about the two stroke, nazis, and suzuki. I think it would make a really good movie even.

I have a few of Mick Walkers books. He really does alot of research, and really knows his stuff. I just picked up A Vincent in the Garage, by Tom Cotter. It has real stories about the treasures we all search for. So far, it's a great read. I have 2 shelves full of books about motorcycles, and have read most of them a couple of times.

i'm about to start reading big sid's vincati.. i'll let y'all know what i think

Big Sid is a local guy and has shown up to a few of our bike meets. Super nice dude. I haven't seen him since Mid-O. Let me know what you think of the book.
