I wish my dad rode bikes. He was a greaser and a bad ass, but he never got into bikes. When my kids are older, they will have no shortage of these kinds of pics. Thanks for getting this thread going and sharing.
Dad only ever had two bikes, a suzuki TS185 and then the kawasaki F11b.
Pic below is Dad n I prob around 1984, then with my sister as well in 1985, then in 1996 when i finally nagged him enough to drag it out of the shed where it had sat since 1985.
Found this pic of my Dad after I got into bikes. He died young so I don't know if he rode this thing around in the army or not. I can only dream of having a bike like this...
Summer 2009 my Dad at the time was 73 he came out to Utah and I rented him this 1300vtx he owns a 750 Shadow that he still rides at home in Florida. He is now 75.
