I don't think I saw a single bike on the road or parked when I was over there. Those big scooters are huge though. I heard a rumor once that they have like a 250cc limit on two-wheeled vehicles unless you want to pay some outrageous road tax.

Mind you, I have no idea how that explains the Bosozoku.

also in japan, you can only ride a bike that you can pick up.. it's rare to see a 750 there

I'm also fairly sure theres a 100hp (74.6kW) power limit, much the same as France has got.

And much the same as the EU may be getting...damn...

All those damn dictatorships and their stupid laws! I am way too rebellious to live somewhere like that! France is nothing but a bunch of pansy ass fags anyway! They don't want to ride anything with real power. If someone tried to tell me I could not have this or that according to size or HP of my bike or even tell me I could not own/ride my bike, I would go vigilante on their ass!

You said it, twisted! Glad that I live in a country where I can ride whatever I want.

Speaking of which... 7 days until I get my unrestricted licence! BOO-YEAH!

Just a heads up.

something your missing guys we are not the #1 market they build for so what ever the rest of the world does we tend to follow. so keep your vintage over 100hp bikes going if you want speed. I am not saying this is going to happen tomorrow but. it will

While I was there I worked with some of the miitary folks and some of them had GSXR's and big HD's. I also met some of the Boozefighters and most of them rode custom HD's. What they told me was the bigger the cc's the more you pay and that they have a graduated licensing system. You have to test for different sizes of bike and if you have a licence to ride a scooter you better not get caught riing anything bigger. One of the Japanese rider that I talked to told me that American drivers are considered to be professional drivers because of the speeds at which we drive and th HP our vehicles produce.

I never would have guessed this image would be relevant to anything:

Dude, that image is relevant to awesomeness! I know this is not the intended reaction, but I want to eat that. At least a small part of it.
