I am with you guys. I cry everytime I buy my own roll your own tobacco for my smokes. I refuse to buy the pre-packaged crap. Makes anarchy seem like a viable alternative....

While I do think the tax is excessive, I find it amusing that we are debating something so small.
No really...What has REALLY fucked us all?
The banks and Wall street lobbying to relax restrictions and controls on the banking industry.
Not Obama, not just Bush, not just Clinton, but it stared with Regan.
If you really want change, get behind the re introduction of controls on the banking and investment business .
That would have a much larger impact on your money.
As a Canadian, I wouldn't care what the US did with it's banks but ,as it turns out, the US made it everbody's business.

I hate to say it, but you Canadians are subject to what the rest of us are as well by default. We're all dragged through the same shit pile unfortunately. Good to know that I'll have northern brothers in the trenches with their pichforks beside me!!!!

Something so small! Really! Do you remember your history! Three words for you "Boston Tea Party"! Started the revolution that's made it possible for us to live in this great land! Canada has had many benefits for just being our neighbor, so it applies to you all as well! If you don't like our system, go try another one. Many have died for us to speak our minds and have a say in our government. They are still dying as I type. Huge thanks to all of them and my heart goes out to their families. Our government is not what it once was and there is no way it can please every person. Corruption runs rampant in political circles because power is prevalent in those positions and power breeds corruption! This is a big issue, excessive taxing on any product, good, or service should not be tolerated by people of any government structure. By taking a stand on this you are being the active part of the government that must take place for balance. If you lay to the side and allow the government to run over your peers issues it will not be long until they trample one of your issues, and before you know it your a fucking commie! I am not happy with our government and many of it's decisions, however I support it's structure and will fight tooth and nail til my body can fight no longer for this great nation. If that means fighting physically against an outside threat or verbally against an inside threat, then it shall be. People who don't play a roll in supporting or actively disagreeing in government policy should have their rights removed and banished to some foreign land where they have no rights, I bet it would not take 6 weeks until they would get on their knees and beg for one sip of our freedom water!

Still think it is a SMALL issue?
