Please help, trying to find left ignition coil for CB350F.

After a bit of investigation, I found I wasn't getting spark to my center cylinders. In other words the left coil wasn't producing any electricity to the create a spark in the spark plugs. I checked with a simple light to check the power going to my coils, I am getting power into both coils, but no power out of the left.

So I'm pretty dang sure this is a bad coil. I also just cleaned the breaker points and re-spaced them with a feelers gage @ .014mm

Does anyone have a spare ignition coil, or know a good place to get one? It's the left coil, although I think a right coil is identical at least the stamp number is.

My bikes a 1972 CB350F (actually a 1971, but identical to 72' long story)

Thanks for reading, you all have been life savers.

Hey, I have a spare set I could send your way. IDK what year mine are off of though if it even makes a difference.

Where are you located?

;D ;D ;D I can't tell you how much that would help.

I'm actually right out side of Chicago, the town name is Elgin. I don't mind paying shipping.

You said your not sure on the year, I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter since my stamp number matches different year coils.
Thanks again, if you want zip me a PM letting me know how much shipping would cost. And I'll send you my address. ;D

^My PMs are messed up. I think it has something to do with the fire wall at work.

I also have a fiberglass rear seat cowl that doesnt fit my cb500 if you are also interested in that.

If you want to throw in the fiberglass cowl that would be great, I'm really excited. ;D

I hope you can get your PM's fixed. You can go ahead and email me at oneleggedstanley@gmail.com if it's being a bit screwy.

Cheers,

Coil should work out fine. I used one from a 500 twin, and it works good, outside of being a different color and the wire too short. ;)
