Please help with wiring - headlight / tail light question

So I'm starting to rewire my 75 cb360t and had some questions for you fellas... I apologize if its a dumb question, this is my first bike and am learning as I go...

So its kick start only, no turn signals/horn... My question is is it possible to wire the headlight so its always on when you run the bike - i.e. get rid of the hi/lo switch and just wire straight from the ignition switch, if that makes sense.

Also, is it possible to just splice the tail light from the same wire coming from the ignition to the headlight instead of running it all the way to the handle bar controls, back to the light?

Im attaching two images to illustrate what I'm talking about. I used a kick start only diagram I found online and edited it to what I want to do, which is the first image (the red lines show what I'm talking about specifically). The second image is the original diagram for reference.

thanks for looking

i can not see the wiring schematics...
it is possible to do most anything.....you can wire the lights to be on all the time but you will only have one filament with out a h/l switch of some sort which is always a good idea in case you burn one of the filaments out..and yes you can run the tail light but then you will probably not have the parking light function on the switch(which is no big deal), just make sure in that position you do not have a issue.
