Please REVEIW your Pamco ignition.

there may be nothing wrong with a pamco unit it ,at all i wish i still had one up and running
sure makes the lil 350 run awesome just like with a new set of correctly tuned oem points, maybe even a lil better.
my only concern has bin why did it fail ? my inkling is vibration over time got to it. looking at the unit always wondered why the components hanging out in thin air ,basically dangling from the cirkut bored, were not at least partially supported/encased in some kind of matrix like epoxy or hot glue whatever

My ballast CM uses a solution called potting XB... its basically asphalt with micro fibers added and a high temp resin to keep it from melting out of containment. You can purchase small consumer volumes of epoxy potting at electrical supply houses and it would be a great idea to do so if the PCB is fully exposed on the pamco today. I use high temp silicone to glue down capacitors on demo drivers because just shipping them would break a solder leg now that copper is so brittle.

It's programmable. You set your own ignition curve. Kind of an important feature on a built engine.
