Hey guys I am wanting to remove my starter all together for weight and cleanliness. Any ideas on how to plug the hole? IA am guessing someone has a genius mod.... Please share. Here is my thread

On the XS650, some people use 'freeze plugs'. Not that I have a clue. Take the measurement of the hole and you might find a compatible plug.

I paid the money and bought the XS650 kit myself. It's different in that you have access to both sides and it bolts in.

Great! Thank you guys. I will start looking into the options. Very cool!

For the daughter's CD175, I used the starter snout, trimmed off some of the excess bits and polished it. It's held in place with a fixturing bolt and loctite and lets me keep the stock O-ring seal.
I threaded the starter shaft hole to take a NPT fitting for a hose that runs to my catch can - along with the (stock) vent line from the cam cover and another one from a modified oil filler plug / dipstick.
Cheap...
I'll do the same thing with my CB350 - as far as I can tell, the electric starter is kaput anyway.
