Well i thought id try my hand polishing. I know your suppose to go at it with sandpaper, but i didn't have any, and i didn't feel like getting any so i just used the mothers polish cream stuff. Anyways.

I know that there's a little pitting but i thought it was pretty good for only a 10 minute job. I might try this on my engine covers, but i might have to get a polishing wheel.

Anyways, if you have any suggestions or things to say, go ahead!

I bought and Eastwood polishing kit, lots of mops and soaps, used the brown soap for starting and the blue to finish, came up awesome, like a mirror, used a pedestool drill for the mops.

I think you could make that look much brighter with a buffer and some sand paper at the least

Isecond that yogi ;) a small polish kit from general home diy / depot store or of ebay will stand ya for a couple of projects not just a few parts on this one and the difference is chalk n cheese man  give yourself a bit of time you will love the finish 8)

SWEET tops fellas now thats gotta be worth it ;) wait till ya at a meet, people won't leave ya alone wanting to know the secrets to ya shiny bits 8)

Are the dull parts of this simply parts left raw after bead blasting? EDIT: Talking about the motor in your signature.
