Port Dover Friday 13

I rode down to PD13 with my friend Lorne. We got there around 1:00 and there was no line up into the town. It was great! Parked our bikes and took in the sites. Lots of Harleys but there were a handful of nice vintage bikes and customs. People watching was a lot of fun. It was a human zoo! The rain held off and we didn't see any during the day. I know many non Harley riders knock this rally but it is highly entertaining.

looks like it could be very dangerous taking pictures of topless woman there! That one shot looks like you got caught and they don't look too impressed. Any black eyes? Ha ha!

I was supposed to go down to PD13 myself, but cancelled at the last minute to take part in some cheesy company-paid-for training instead. I can attest PD13 being a human zoo as well! Last year there was a real old dude wearing a leather thong, once you see something like that long term therapy is the only remedy. Lot's of saggy guts (men AND women) too.

It is true that it is, for the most part, a loud assed Harley-fest. But, as noted, there are other rides there as well. Last year I saw 3 CBX's lined up side by each, where else in Ontario are you going to see a sight like that?

Maybe next year a whack of caff enthusiasts can ride down together and park together? At least set up to meet up in a certain area "up top" or on a side street. Something to think about. That, and I need to get a caff by then!

Yeah I was there and it was even crazier than last year.

nice pics jay! yeah, the CBX's are always my favourite, they always park on that same corner every year.

yeah, it'd definitely be nice to roll in there with cafe bikes, i think it's the last type of bike that needs more exposure in these big events....one day...

March and November sound too cold.
I went a few years back in October.
We had strong winds, rain and snow!
