POS of the month....

Flawed thinking. The only people that can see cool are those who are cool. Some have thought killing children and burying them under their porch was cool, that does not mean they or their actions are cool, it just means they are delusional. If you are not cool then you can think whatever you want, but outside your world it simply does not count.

Sayeth you from inside your own world. I just think you're applying Fonzie logic in place of real logic.

Whoa. I missed a gem.

Anyways, Jaguar on CR.net is Surffly over here. Not that it really matters.

Purple?

Aw Mike, you know I love a good witch hunt. Just didn't want surffly to pay for nortonguy's idiocy.

;D

Ok lets pretend this is true for second...who determines who is cool? At the very least that is completely subjective. Unless you are a total dick that thinks he is God's gift to the world. In which case you are the delusional one. And that is not cool.

In our very small corner of the universe there is one talent you can try and cultivate which if you are successful will help you in every facet of the time you are here. That talent it to without choice be aware of what movement is a product of human thought, and that movement which is not. When you are able to do that, then you will see that what is not a product of human thought is real and alive, and that which is, is dead, false and destructive.

I don't want to get into the "what's cool and what's not" debate, but looking at the eBay ad at least the guy was honest:

"1979 Yamaha XS 650 recreated into an 850 Norton Commando Tribute Bike."

At least he wasn't openly trying to screw over some noob. I'm sure the Title lists the bike as a Yamaha, so any deception wouldn't go too far.

Yeah, I know, I'm sure the next response will be "yeah, but that's not the point. The point that he's sullying the great bike history of Norton. . . ." blah, blah blah, I'm losing interest already. . . ;)

I guess I'm just not cool enough to understand what the hell you are talking about! And I am OKAY with that!

The Simpsons on what’s cool

Homer: So, I realized that being with my family is more important than being cool.
Bart: Dad, what you just said was powerfully uncool.
Homer: You know what the song says: “It’s hip to be square”.
Lisa: That song is so lame.
Homer: So lame that it’s… cool?
Bart+Lisa: No.
Marge: Am I cool, kids?
Bart+Lisa: No.
Marge: Good. I’m glad. And that’s what makes me cool, not caring, right?
Bart+Lisa: No.
Marge: Well, how the hell do you be cool? I feel like we’ve tried everything here.
Homer: Wait, Marge. Maybe if you’re truly cool, you don’t need to be told you’re cool.
Bart: Well, sure you do.
Lisa: How else would you know?

;D HAhahaha

The "what's cool and what's not" debate is what's keeping me coming back! LOL it's ridiculous but hella entertaining!

I think I'm uncool for thinking so though.

But admitting you are uncool...makes you cool!

Really?? Now I'm confused. If "I" don't think I'm cool I'm still cool? But I thought cool was whatever you think cool is........except burying kids under porches, the KKK and swastikas......

God damn it!

I don't know WHAT to think anymore. This is so uncool. My daughter bought me some blue argyle socks (currently wearing) for x-mas which she thought were cool. I figured, "Hey! If you say so." Have I made a mistake?

Where's the Fonze?

It would help if we could define "cool". I think we've eliminated child murder, KKK, and Nazis. Did Nazis were argyle socks under their Hugo Boss uniforms? If so....uncool?

How come we never see Norton Guy and Swivel in the same room?

As much as they can both be asses at times, NortonGuy appears to be more literate and coherent than Swivel ever was.

Past tense for Swivel. He's gone.

Norton IS more coherent sure, and not nearly as prolific as the he who won't be named. Still haven't heard a whole lotta positive outta Norton Guy. Hence, the percived similarity on my part.

Kawasaki 650 with Norton Commando tank decals. I always thought this was a damn nice bike that could stand on it's own without borrowing cred from another marque:
