I don't know where I've been. I'm just stirring the pot a little here fellas, it's healthy. I think some of you may have taken this PSA a bit too seriously. I have clip-ons mounted above the tree on my CB500 so what do I know? Still think it looks better than a floppy bunny though.
Some of the bikes I pictured are at least at a 30 degree angle.
That's almost correct. They were designed to use stock bar mounts and mimic the position of clip-ons, this is more specific than "proper racing positioning."
So if your clubmans don't put the bars were clip-ons ought to be then they are on wrong. This is a statement of fact. Don't try to make improperly mounted clubmans about functionality. You got clubmans because they were the cool internet cafe racer me too must have item. There were probably better ways to get a favorable riding position.
