Post a pic of your latest purchase

Man, save those pics for another thread - this is too popular a thread to be throwing bombs like that in, even with warnings (still have to scroll past the thing).

I too have had a bike dance on my foot at speed and I have no doubt what so ever that the Alpenstar blems I bought for $50 saved me. Ground completely thrui two layers of heavy leather AND the plastic armor portion, the only thing that was left between me and the pavement was a sock, some of the boot liner and a heat blister.

I'm not gonna preach, not my place or my business but........I like me ankles, makes it easier to shift.

I just bought this:

I've been borrowing a friend's gun for a bit and have been impressed with the results, so I decided it was time to get my own and return his.

Yes it is... I am really happy with the quaility of the seat...

I was surprised at how "comfy" mine is considering how small it looks. I've been on the bike for an hour or so at a time with no complaints. And it's sturdy too. I have very little bracing under mine and it's held up great.

My latest - I got the Sankei exhaust for this one off ebay for 25 bucks + 11 shipping - Seat was 15 off of Craigslist for 50 bucks -- Lets seeee....... It only took me 20 years to get around to looking for the parts for her - Had her together in a week once I started looking around

Mocal oil cooler to go with the Halco tuning converted (to allow the running of an oil cooler and external oil filter) engine casing I picked up a few weeks ago. Couldn't resist mocking it up with (cable ties LOL) to see what it would look like.

And another hydraulic clutch conversion for the XS (I've ended up with two very similar conversion kits and this one was significantly cheaper than the first so I'm keeping it as a spare)

Don't have a pic yet, yesterday I was given a Bombardier 'Rally' 200 ATV (of course it's broken ;D )
They have transmission and rear brake 'features'
Needs a battery, carb re-build, clean out all the wasps nests and spiders (plus fix transmission and un-seize brakes)
Spent way too long finding a service manual for it but finally got one.
It's a hell of an impressive cylinder head, particularly for older design (it's 2004 Rotax engine)
Single OHC, 4 valve, roller rockers, elephant foot valve adjusters, AND, it's only 176cc
I'm going to find out if anything can be 'adapted' to Honda/Yamaha
Going to spray it down with insect killer before I go any further, second pic is the air filter, third is INSIDE the filter box before carb entry

picked myself up a pair of these overpriced gems. I really like the look but $42 shipped was the cheapest I could find them on the net.

Also Got some bikemaster superbike bars (pretty sure I don't need a pic here haha).

I'm thinking I might move in this direction with my GS 750 build. I'm kinda living in the sticks & as much as I want to full on café it I'm just not sure it makes sense with all the dirt roads I'll be riding.

I know! me too. I had been toying with the idea but I wasn't sure if it would work aesthetically but I think that KZ build pulls it off pretty damned well IMO.

Cornish - you get the wildest stuff for that scoot.......I'm jealous.
PJ - Quads are a lot of fun - especially the small ones. The price was right too!

Just got these in the mail today:

Say what you want about Icon, but these boot are pretty comfy. And hopefully, waterproof as advertised........

I have a pair of those Icons Rich and I love them. Extremely comfortable boots, I've done many 12 hour days in them and no complaints at all. They are not 100% waterproof, but not too bad. For typical rain they are fine but for big splashes or heavy downpours I've found a bit of water getting through.

72 gt380 with two motors and tanks and the wrong seat i have the side covers and carbs but there not pictured. This bike is gonna stay 2up and as stock as i can leave something, and yes im working on the harness that is why i drapped over thr bars. i may end up trading this to a local suzuki collector for a near mint first gen fzr1000 time will tell eather way it staying stock two time bombs and a dirt bike choppa is enuff, this is the one im ridding while im waiting on new pistons haha
