Ok, so basically this is a good excuse to blatantly show off my son... but he is busy with my latest purchase! Every time he sees a bike he says "rooomm rooomm."

I recently bought the Harbor Freight self darkening welding helmet. Got to try it out today...Fantastic.. Made a huge difference. Been having trouble with my little buzz box stick welder getting and holding the arc. I guess I couldn't see well enough....I fabricated some brackets and welded a broken tab on my old luggage rag. I recommend this helmet, for $39.99 it works great...

they have a Blue Flame graphic, and silver "Tron" looking one as well as plain. I chose the one in an unopened box, with all the parts. Color wasn't critical....But if the Tron one wasn't in trashed boxes, I would of picked that one...

It works though, that's the important part.

Nice choice AzHonda. The HJC is a nice helmet, the sun visor rocks. Might want to snap out the cheek pads to soak and squish them a bit, depending on the shape of your head.

Went to a vintage show/swap
Meet and commented on a guys sr500, said "damn I want one of those" he says follow me.
Went around back and he had a trailer parked with two sr500s on it. One with a title, fresh paint, really nice. He had JUST sold it for 500 bucks. Fuck.
So I offered 75 for the POS beside it. He said he'd think about it. I went back to find him later but he had left

Frustrated I went home and put an ad on Craigslist that I wanted that sr500 and if he reads it call me.

A few days later I got a call from a tech at the dealership that the show was at and he said the guy had sold it to him along with the 500 dollar one and if i still wanted it he'd take 100 bucks.
