Post a pic of your latest purchase

Don't know. Probably lower priced because they're breaking into the street riding segment. Fly Racing is best known for mx helmets and sponsor pro riders.

He really needs to get some good pics taken. This thing is insanely sanitary. Damn near museum quality.

Don't let Bradj hear you, he might believe the project is finished....could cause him to have palpitations......

If that was in a museum, you can believe I would be lingering over it....

Thanks Its not perfect it could use better fenders but nos ones are 4 and 5 hundred bucks and that ant happening. ill track down a nicer set in the next few years.

Just traded for these heads

no matter how hot or long the next shower you take is, you will never wash away the shame of what you had to give in trade

The Marchesini and 748 swingarm I ordered last week arrived yesterday. An absolute steal for $350 with the brembo caliper, shock, complete swinger, and the wheel. Going to look good on my 750.

scored these off the side of the road, figure i should be able to make at least one of them into a turd scoop (belly pan) for the CB750

another roadside find, maybe an oil catch bottle for something, or find sanother one, weld together and make a gas tank for the BSA

these were getting thrown away at work, grabbed them and used them to make one of my work benches mobile and also a useable height

a DT175 mini fairing for the Vmax and a DT175 kicker (both for $40 at a swap meet) which fits straight on the CB750 and being about 6 inches shorter than the stock one makes it a lot easier to bend the old fucked right leg up there, heres a pic of it fitted, looks heaps better than the stock one too. those are the new carbs from another swap meet, $100

a set of finned covers for $50 at a swap meet, not perfect (or complete) but a shitload cheaper than the ones on fleabay, clean them, black wrinkle finish to cover the shitty chrome and they should look fine)

finally got my Vmax motor back from where its been hiding in shame after handgrenading itself mid burnout (nothing to do with the red wine ) it lives on a skateboard cos its much easier to shift that way

and heres a pic of it after it fell off its skateboard.......turns out there was still some oil left hiding in there (along with the broken pieces of gearbox)

an engine stand i'm making from a discarded steel mini pallet, some more discarded casters from work and i've cut up an old gate to make the uprights to run bolts thru into the engine mount holes

Pulled the trigger on some safety gear:

Love Arai helmets. They fit me best, bar none. A litttle 'spendy', but I believe they're worth it. 8)

Really like the "frost black" w/dark tint shield too!

Yellow Devil gear exchange in Long Beach is having a sale this weekend along side the Long Beach Grand Prix, Picked up a jacket to match the cruiser cuz all my other gear has got tuning fork logos on it $125 marked down to $70 ;D

Got some mirror block off plugs made (by crazypj) for the Duc. Very abnormal size, but he was still able to come though. Love 'em. Perfect fit.

I did think about scribing lines and adding numbers so they looked like they did 'something' (depending on your imagination - remote suspension adjustment, tyre pressure adjustment or similar ;D )

I expect to be showing the back of my new Arai to a few folks this summer. ;)

;D ;D
