Post a pic of your latest purchase

Tim, nice bags! I'm not an expert, but the WWI gas mask bag I had that was grandfathers was very much like those bags you have;same color, similar style stitching, similar materials. Most WWII gear I have seen has been green with somewhar "finer" stitching and materials. Does that prove anything? No. I just thought I'd throw out what info I've got that might help you out. Of course my experience is with US equipment, yours could be CDN, I suppose... would that be different? Could be...

Sucks to here. That's how fresh tattoos look, for those who are curious. They aren't for everyone that's for sure. Just checking, his is a thread where you can post any purchase isn't it? Cheers

Much more interesting than that tattoo. That's pretty awesome, glad you found her.

Cheers, I 2nd Rich's post. Don't make tattoos sound like something for an elitist group. That tattoo is the exact reason why they aren't for everyone.
Ignorance is bliss.

In retrospect, my jab isn't as funny the next day as it was last night. I'm a wiener.

Good day here!
Brought home a '67 BSA B44 that I have been stewing on since last August. Took the leap and dropped $400 on her, she needs a complete make over. First year of the road-going version of a Victor Special, the one and only year for the "Victor Roadster". After this the model was dubbed the "Shooting Star .
The tank is a replacement from a Victor so it's not correct, and she's missing a few bits, but for the most part complete and the engine kicks over.
