Tools! - Have a friend who works at a large metal recycling plant; they had something like 8 55 gallon drums of machine tools come in - got to pick through them today - $3 a pound out the door!!!! - think that I'm now set for life on taps, drills, reamers, end-mills, etc:

how do you like those panniers? I have an older set of joe rocket ones and that just dont really fit my speed triple very well.

Hey Justin, nice lid. I've got an HJC that I love..

How do you like the modular? I was at a PD demo ride a while back, and when one of the riders went over a speed bump, the visor portion flopped halfway down, directly into his line of vision. Made me leery of getting one. Wondering how stable you found yours.

But who rides with the visor up?

I actually see it a fair bit around here. Or was that sarcasm? My gf says I'm missing a sarcasm gene, got an extra AYCE gene instead.

I ride with an LS2 modular with the built in sun visor. Only picture I have of it and its in the rain but I like it. Its kind of loud but I with earplugs I dont notice a difference from my other non-modular helmets.

None missed here haha,
My visor only comes up at stop lights and when it's ultra hot.

Same. I don't ride with the visor up. The built in sun visor is awesome.

The panniers are fantastic. Fit all of my soccer gear, including a ball in them yesterday.

I only ride with it up when speeds are slow enough that I'm not getting enough ventilation to prevent fogging.

I love the built in sun-visor on mine too. Is it similar? I'm an idiot - said I didn't have a picture of my helmet as its sitting on my desk behind me at work.

Yup, the built-in sun visor is my favorite feature, too. I want to get a Gringo, but I know I'll miss the inner flip-up.

I actually got pulled over for having mine up once.. I was in town and it was hotter than hades...he said "that visor is on your helmet for a reason, unless you have glasses on it better be down". The irony is I was on my way back from driving school...lol....too many wheelie tickets.

The misses asked me to help out a bit more around at her place. I asked how and she said "maybe you can do the dishes while I cook"

So... I bought a dishwasher.
