That is way better pricing than I was getting at Craftsman in Chicago. Is that the guys in Elk Grove or are you not in Illinois?

I've been using Burbank Plating in California for the past few years for Zinc plating, but their prices keep going up and now start at $150.

Those look really good, what condition do they accept them in? Do they have to be cleaned and degreased first or is that part of the charge?

The bolts I sent them were pretty crusty and greasy. I did sandblast some of the parts that were chromed originally as the chrome was flaking off. Some of the really rusted bolts were pretty pitted, so they have a rough texture. its fine for the bikes they are going back on but a long shot from show quality.

about a month, but they finished the parts in a week. shipping added a week on both ends, and it took me a week to get my shit together and mail them a check because they wont take credit cards.
