I had one of those in red for for awhile after high school. Those are cool bikes. Nice score!

Thanks man! Glad to finally have a runner for her! Luckily I get to enjoy the little beast until she's ready

Good find on the GS450. I was on a race team in the 80s and we campaigned GS450s very successfully. They are good bikes.

I've been informed on quite a bit recently by my buddy Chuck (chuck78) in terms of racing capabilities! Have any pics from those days that you'd care to share?

Man..I wish, committed to a Cincinnati trip for Layla's soccer tournament that she'll be coach in. However -we are riding down there on this GS so at least I'll have some time to ride before the season slips between my fingers. She'll (Layla) be rolling solo ASAP but currently doesn't feel comfortable enough to pilot us down to Cinci. So the throttles all mine for now

Just ordered these. I'm very interested to see how they look.

Postman Pat arrived with my bottle opener. A must for any serious bike enthusiast on the road. It bolts to the EGR mounts (previously removed) on my Skyteam Ace.

Don't you spill a lota beer mounting it sideways

Ha Ha! I have no idea to get it to rotate. It's fine as a pic everywhere else except on this forum. Have had same problem with other pics. Any ideas?

No pics, but, a few cases of Yuengling. Just pulled in to the staging lot at Barber to start drinking them.

Not really a purchase, but I did buy and assemble the items to build this. I machined the case, soldered up the regulator, and potted the entire thing. It's a standard 4 wire regulator (for exciter field) like many CB's use, also for and RD350 in this case. The unit is .4" tall, 2.4" wide, and 2" long. The case itself serves as the heat sink for the regulator. If you're wondering why it only has 3 wires since it's a 4 wire regulator, one of the wires is a ground and in my own case I attach that ground via a rivet to the case of the regulator. In future units I will probably run a ground wire along with the 3 others.
