Post a pic of your latest purchase

I have a small laser cutter that is an absolute whiz for gaskets. I use it to cut PTFE wiper seals primarily.

I seen a brother unit that is a scanner cutter, wonder if it cuts to perfect scale... lifesaver in a pinch if it did.

Not a purchase persay but the old wood shop at the Jr. High I teach at is closing. Nobody wants to learn that stuff around here anymore unfortunately. They gave me this, I tried for a few other things (like the old Millermatic stick welder) but they said no. Oh well still super excited.

Nice score, glad you got it, but it makes me sad to hear about those programs closing down :(

Nice grinder, medium shaft Rockwell is good for polishing too, not a long shaft but way better than standard

Shop classes are being replaced by sports and tech... we sub all that dirty shot to China and Mexico so we don't need it. Why when you can be a basketball or football pro right out of high school... right?

I hear you. All our money at my school is being dumped into the Arts and Tech (nothing wrong with those things but half these kids don't know how to use a screw driver) and it is sad to see practical daily skills being dismissed.

Tune I do plan on using at least one side to polish. Maybe leave the other a stone or change it out for a wire wheel for cleaning up nasty parts.

The project bikes have been sitting, as I've been starting the process of redoing my dads(now mine) '66 Fargo wagon. Nobody makes anything for these things when it comes to sheet so you have to do some digging to find donors. Last fridays purchase. I think I'm covered now :)

^Rad^Rad^Rad^

Finally getting back to some projects after graduating/refinishing the house/working/coaching/being lazy etc.... I need a compressor that's light and versatile so I snagged this loud guy for 100 bones on Amazon and a starter kit from a closing Sears in Lancaster, Ohio

My girlfriends dad owned one that I used for awhile and liked it for what I was doing. A bigger, garage only compressor would be nice to have someday but this will help with the 1981 CM engine rebuild+kickstarter and carb rebuilds for the time being.

Yep, I was long term borrowing a buddies pancake compressor for a while. It was a pain to soda blast with or run air tools, but 90% of the time it was blowing out jets and the like and did exactly what I needed, without taking up huge amounts of space.

Also, hit me up sometime man, when the weather breaks we gotta do some riding

Word! That sounds like a good time. I'd love to see the shop/projects at some point!Maybe ride up a day to check er out and then head back southeast to where all the newly paved fun is at. The twisties are shaping up nicely, it's been solid practice every time I've had a chance to hit em with Chuck(Chuck78). Miss you all on here, I've definitely been reading and following along, just busy is all!

The old GS gonna get a face lift with some fresh and new bits (always searching for a bargain ) exhausts new for $45 each, result

Only the cheap frames are new, the posters are from the walls in the service area of our old family dealership. They've been stored for years until now. Original "patina" on them too. They photos are a bit odd, the frames are straight. New shop art.
